Covid-19 Protocols for Visitors to the Cathedral

The following precautions and protocols have been put into place to safeguard our visitors and staff:

Those who have any symptoms of Covid-19 are asked not to enter the building. Signage reminding visitors of those symptoms is in place.

Hand sanitisers are provided and must be used upon entry and exit of the Cathedral.

It is suggested that our visitors might like to wear facemarks when in the Cathedral.  Signage reminding visitors of proper cough and sneeze etiquette is on display.  All visitors should sanitise their hands using the wall-mounted dispensers on entry and exit.

A rigorous cleaning protocol is in place, including the regular and frequent sanitisation of all surfaces that may be touched by visitors (door handles, pew ends, seats etc).

Visitors are not allowed to consume food or drink on the premises and are asked to take all waste away with them. Where this is not possible, pedal operated bins are provided.
